About Callahan & Blaine

Client Service Focused on the Rights of the Insured

Callahan & Blaine's wide-ranging trial practice offers fully committed client service and a record of outstanding results across a wide range of litigation problems — commercial law, corporate and ownership disputes, and personal injury claims. From the time we opened our doors in 1984, our goal has been to build the ideal civil trial practice.

Essential to this objective is a thorough understanding of insurance law. Whether you're defending a claim, asserting a claim or both, you need to know what you can expect from your liability insurer under a commercial general liability policy, errors and omissions coverage, or even your homeowners' insurance. Contact Callahan & Blaine in Santa Ana to find out how you can benefit from the ways we integrate a thorough understanding of insurance law into every civil litigation problem.

Whether they're pursuing or defending claims, most of our clients are necessarily concerned about the costs of civil litigation. We therefore find ways to create and pursue avenues of insurance coverage wherever we can find them. In many cases, we can take advantage of opportunities to seek damages from responsible third parties or for bad faith insurance practices even while we're defending you on the original claims.

Edward Susolik is the partner in charge of our firm's insurance litigation practice. Mr. Susolik has also handled over 1,000 bad faith lawsuits and disputes in his 20 plus year career. Further, Mr. Susolik was recently named as one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Southern California by the prestigious Super Lawyer organization, which is based on peer rating and evaluation.
